How Showgaze Works
Showgaze gives event teams a practical way to collect audience-shot footage and turn it into something useful after the event. The process is designed to stay simple for the people in the room and manageable for the team running the show — collection happens during the event, review and output happen after it.
The workflow is built around four steps: collect footage from the audience via QR code or shared link; sort and filter the incoming clips by hand to remove what is unusable; shape the usable footage by syncing it to reference audio and preparing it per the brief; then deliver the output to the event team after the show. The aim is to give the event team a cleaner route from incoming footage to something they can actually use, rather than gathering every clip and hoping for the best.
Most jobs only need basic information from the organiser side: event details, permission to share the upload path, reference audio when it helps, and a clear sense of what the output needs to do. Showgaze is currently in beta and quoted per event. Contact hello@showgaze.app or apply to scope a specific job.
The four-step process
- Collect — QR code or shared link at the event gives audience a simple way to submit footage
- Sort — Incoming footage reviewed and filtered; unusable clips removed before they reach output
- Shape — Usable footage synced to reference audio and prepared to match the brief
- Deliver — Output delivered to the event team after the show, ready for use
What the event team usually needs to provide
- Basic event details and expected use for the output
- Permission to share the upload path at the event
- Reference or desk audio when it helps the job
- A clear sense of what the output is meant to do after the show
