- What does Showgaze do?
- Showgaze helps artists and event teams prepare footage from live shows, rehearsals and playthroughs. Depending on the job, we can deliver finished videos, short clips or an editable timeline.
- Is Showgaze a SaaS app?
- No. Showgaze is an editing and footage preparation service. Tell us what you need and we’ll agree the scope. You do not need to operate the editing tools yourself.
- Who is Showgaze for?
- Showgaze is for artists, organisers, venues and production teams working with performance footage, whether it comes from an audience or a planned shoot.
- Does the audience need to install an app?
- No. People can send footage through an upload link or QR code. Larger camera files can be sent directly, and private sessions can use a private upload page.
- What kind of footage can be used?
- Showgaze can work with phone footage and professional camera footage from live shows, rehearsals and playthroughs. Usable audio and enough camera coverage help us prepare the edit. Tell us what you have, and we’ll work out what is suitable.
- What does an event team receive?
- We agree the outputs before starting. These can include finished videos, short reels, or editable handovers for Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. An editable timeline is for continuing the edit; a finished video is ready to play or share.
- Is Showgaze a replacement for professional camera operators?
- No. Showgaze helps you work with the footage that was captured. Professional camera coverage still matters, and we can help prepare that material as well as audience clips.
- Can returning clients book more easily?
- After three delivered events, subsequent requests are eligible for automatic approval by default. We can enable or disable this for an account. Request approval is separate from reviewing or releasing a finished cut.
- How is the footage synced?
- Showgaze uses a custom sync engine to sync footage to reference audio. That puts the available camera angles on the same timeline for review and editing.
- Is Showgaze currently available?
- Showgaze is in beta, with limited availability. Clients approved for beta early access can view and download completed cuts before our review. Those cuts have not yet been checked by us and are not automatically published.
