Showgaze has an Android app in beta that makes uploading simpler — audience members can submit footage, track their contributions, and get notified when they are near an active Showgaze event. A web-based upload flow is also available for events where the app is not yet in use. People can apply to beta test the app via showgaze.app.

Showgaze is designed around phone footage captured by audience members at the event. The best results come from footage with usable audio, stable framing, and reasonable coverage of the performance. For larger-scope bookings with more planning time, rehearsal footage, playthroughs, GoPro or DSLR material, and arranged capture can also be scoped where suitable.

Depending on the package, deliverables can include a finished MP4 export, organised synced footage, a production report, social cutdowns (vertical and horizontal), or an editor-ready handover via Premiere XML/XMEML or OTIO. All packages include QR upload workflow setup, footage sorting, reference audio sync, and human QC during beta.

A single-song beta trial typically delivers within same day to 2 business days after footage and reference audio are received. Artist packages usually take 2–5 business days. Editor-ready handovers are typically 1–3 business days. Event-scale packages are quoted based on volume and output requirements. Rush delivery is available by arrangement.

No. Showgaze sits beside existing production workflows. It captures the audience perspective — crowd reactions, singalongs, wide angles, atmosphere — that a single camera operator cannot cover. It is designed to complement professional footage, not replace it.

The event team needs to allow the QR upload prompt at the show, provide reference or desk audio after the event if available, and approve any output before it is released publicly. Showgaze handles the setup, collection, sync, QC, and delivery.
